Starbucks Coffee – 5070 Rocklin Rd, Rocklin, CA 95677
Camp Virner is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. If you ever have a craving for German food in the Greater Sacramento Area, there is not a lot of available options. This little jewel nestled among the trees is a family owned and operated restaurant, husband in the kitchen, wife at the bar and also helps daughter in the dining room. We came for German food, so we ordered the schnitzel with dumplings and it did not disappoint!
It was a great way to satisfy our hunger after the long ride with lots of curvies, over the river (on a wooden bridge) and through the woods and even stumbling upon the end of the paved road at one point. If we were on a Ducati Multistrada, we definitely would have kept riding. But on a Victory Vision, it was turn around time. What a memorable ride we had today, and what a way to break in the new bike!

Our motorcycle group met at the Starbucks Coffee on Sunrise in Rancho Cordova, then we headed out towards El Dorado for a famous Golden Cadillac at Poor Red’s and another obligatory stop at the Coloma Club. That is a pickle in the jar in the gallery pic!
Bob and I ordered the Cobb Salad and BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich at the Purple Place in El Dorado Hills. Can you guess who ate what?
After riding on the “cheese wedge” back seat of the Victory Jackpot for the past few years, it was time to upgrade our ride! We enjoy going two-up on motorcycle rides and would love to start riding with groups who go on longer rides than a passenger on the Jackpot should be on. Since we love the reliability of the Victory brand, we started looking at the Victory Vision because of the comfort and unique design of what was the flagship bike of the brand at the time. We were both enamored with the Arlen Ness Signature Vision in Nuclear Sunset, so Bob rode home with the #53 bike!
